Tau Kappa Epsilon

Length: 9/16" Width: 1/2" Mass: 3.5 grams

This is a beautiful TKE pin with an attached Delta Tau chapter guard. The pin has 12 seed pearls, 3 emeralds and 2 red stones in the eyes of the skull and the chapter guard has 15 seed pearls. The Delta Tau chapter was founded at Iowa State University in 1955. It is not engraved but does have the Balfour mark and a 10k stamp. This pin was acquired from the owner's daughter and dates to the late '60s.

Here is a great Tau Kappa Epsilon with 13 seed pearls and the typical 2 red stones in the eyes of the skull. This badge is not engraved making it perfect for your name. This pin has a barrel clasp dating this pin to be the 1920s.

Tau Kappa Epsilon

Length: 1/2" Width: 1/2" Mass: 2.3 grams

Here is a nice Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and both red stones normally placed in the eyes are missing. (These stones can easily be replaced by your jeweler.) It is engraved with, "Alpha, H.L.P., 11-24-'16" and the Burr Patterson mark. The Alpha chapter was founded at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1899 (The Alpha chapter is the first chapter.)

Tau Kappa Epsilon

Here is a nice Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "C.A. CARLSON, 189, Nu" and the maker's mark. The Nu chapter was founded at University of California at Berkeley in 1919. In 1930 there were 187 members in this chapter, which means we can estimate this pin to be from 1931.

Tau Kappa Epsilon

Here is a Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It also has a Kappa Lambda chapter guard and a sword dangle attached. It is engraved with, "JFH, 60, Kappa Lambda" the Balfour mark and a 10k stamp. The Kappa Lambda chapter was founded at the University of Minnesota at Morris in 1966 and has been inactive since 1987. We are estimating this pin to be from the late '60s and was one of the members from the first few pledge classes or maybe even a founder.

This is a beautiful TKE pin with an attached Theta Gamma chapter guard. This pin has 3 seed pearls and 2 small red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "M.A.V., Theta Gamma, 187." The Theta Gamma chapter was founded at Lock Haven State University (PA) in 1960. In 1963 there were 132 members which dates thsi pin the mid or late '60s. There is also a 10k stamp and Balfour's mark.

Tau Kappa Epsilon - 1963

Length: 1/2" Width: 1/2" Mass: 2.9 grams

Here is a great Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with the Gamma Omega chapter guard attached. This pin has 3 seed pearls and 2 small red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "DSB JR, Gamma Omega, 358." The Gamma Omega chapter was founded at Eastern Illinois University in 1952. In 1963 there were 357 members dating this to 1963. There is also a 10k stamp and Balfour's mark on the back.

Here is a Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It also has a Gamma Pi chapter attached. It is engraved with, "G. L. E., Gamma Pi 349," the Balfour mark and a 10k stamp. The Gamma Pi chapter was founded at Parsons University in 1951 and has been inactive since 1973.

Here is a nice Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "H. G. F., Alpha Rho 241." The Alpha Rho chapter was founded at the University of Rhode Island in 1937. In 1949 there were 180 members in this chapter and in 1963 there were 395. With this information we are dating this pin to the early '50s.

Here is a nice Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "I. F. W., Gamma Theta, 108." The Gamma Theta chapter was founded at the University of Florida in 1950. In 1963 there 186 members of this chapter so we are estimating this pin to be from the mid to late '50s.

This beautiful Tau Kappa Epsilon is complimented by 3 seed pearls and 2 small red stones as eyes in the skull. The back is engraved with "EFY" and "511" and "Gamma Chi." There is also 10k stamp and the maker's mark on the back. The Gamma Chi chapter was founded in 1951 at Valparaiso. The owner of this pin was the 511th member of the Gamma Chi chapter, dating this pin to the late '70s to the early '80s.

Here is a nice Tau Kappa Epsilon pin with 3 seed pearls and 2 red eye stones in the skull. It is engraved with, "JWR, 593, Zeta Theta." The Zeta Theta chapter was founded at Western Illinois University in 1958. There is also a BC stamp representing Balclad material.
