Theta Chi - 1921

This is probably the rarest form of a Theta Chi fraternity pin! It is the coveted "diamond shaped pin" . . . And this one actually has 2 diamonds at the points! The pin contains the familiar Theta Chi snake badge in the center, with a Theta and Chi above and below it. Also included are 16 seed pearls with the 2 diamonds. The back of the pin is engraved with "R.E. Clarenback" "Psi 1921". The Psi Chapter was founded at the University of Wisconsin in 1918.

Here is a little information about this unique badge: At the convention in 1907 a resolution was passed permitting the badge to be reduced sufficiently in size to be mounted on a diamond shaped background. Thus, the diamond shaped badge, came in to use. For a number of years it was optional with a member whether he wore the official badge or the diamond shaped badge ... At the Sixty-Fifth Anniversary Convention in 1921 by convention resolution the diamond shaped badge was made official. At the Seventy-First Anniversary Convention in September 1927, a resolution was passed again making the original snake and swords badge official once again.

THIS IS A VERY RARE OPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS STYLE PIN! DON'T MISS OUT!
