Sigma Kappa- White Gold!

Here is an extremely rare white-gold Sigma Kappa pin with 18 seed pearls. It is engraved on the back, "Ruth Bratney, 1925, Upsilon." The Upsilon chapter was founded at Oregon State University in 1918. This pin has an older version of the skinny knuckle clasp.

Sigma Kappa - 1947

Here is a Sigma Kappa pin and a Sigma chapter guard. The pin has 15 seed pearls, 3 rubies and the chapter guard has 8 seed pearls. It is engraved on the back with, "SUE E. WAGES, 3-24-47, Sigma" and the LGB mark. The Sigma chapter was founded at Southern Methodist University in 1917 and has been inactive since 1963. This pin has a knuckle clasp which authenticates the dating of 1947. There is no damage, but the pin could use a cleaning.

Sigma Kappa - Rubies

Here is a great example of a vintage Sigma Kappa pin surrounded by 15 seed pearls and 3 rubies with a Delta Beta chased chapter guard pin. The Sigma Kappa pin has a great maroon enamel. Actual pin is in mint condition;scanner photo shows slight discoloration which is guaranteed to not be on the actual pin. The back of the pin is engraved with "Delta Beta, D.C.K. '60 ". The Delta Beta chapter was founded at Marshall in 1959 making this badge almost a founding member's. This chapter has been inactive since 1983.

Here is a Sigma Kappa pin with a Gamma Gamma chapter guard. The pin has 15 seed pearls and 3 rubies. It is not engraved on the back making it ready for your name. There is 10k stamp on the back. The Gamma Gamma chapter was founded at Indiana State University in 1951. Note the beautifully chased etching on the chapter guard.

Actual pin is in mint condition;scanner photo shows slight discoloration which is guaranteed to not be on the actual pin. The back of the pin is engraved with "HELEN LEHMAN, 3-10-45, Alpha Kappa" and maker's mark LGB. The Alpha Kappa chapter was founded at Nebraska University in 1923 and has been inactive since 1973. This neat pin has a knuckle clasp and a whale-tail spinner in working order and helps to confirm dating of pin.

Here is a Sigma Kappa pin with 18 seed pearls. It is engraved on the back with, "Marguerite Cadwalladea, Alpha Kappa." The Alpha Kappa chapter was founded at the University of Nebraska in 1923 and has been inactive since 1973. This is a unique badge in that the enameling is a particularly dark maroon indicative of earlier badges. The older stylistic engraving also indicates that this badge is a bit lder than the rest on this site.

Here is a Sigma Kappa pin with an attached feather dangle and a Delta Omicron chapter guard. The pin has 18 seed pearls. It is engraved on the back with, "CB-395" a 10k stamp and the Balfour mark. The Delta Omicron chapter was founded at Kansas State University in 1959. In 1968 there were 142 members in this chapter and we do not have any more information on the number of initiates. We are estimateing this pin to be from 1980 or newer.

The Epsilon Gamma chapter was founded at Southwestern State University (Oklahoma) in 1962 and has been inactive since 1990. In 1968 there were 95 members in this chapter, so we are estimating this pin to be from the mid '60s.

(This could be from Sigma Kappa Delta of Armour Institute of Technology that was organized in 1912.) It is not engraved, but does have a 10k stamp on the back. This is a neat clean pin!
