Phi Gamma Delta

Length: 11/16" Width: 3/8" Mass: 2.2 grams

This is a Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is engraved with, "ROLAND McCABE, 2-20-'12, Theta Deuteron." The Theta Deuteron chapter was founded at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1869.

Phi Gamma Delta Pearled Pendant

Length: 11/16" Width: 3/8" Mass: 2.2 grams

This is a former badge that someone turned into a pendant. The back is flat and stamped "LGB". You will notice that this pin is not the same style pin that is used today. Today's pins (and the others pictured on this page) are referred to "founders badge" style. This pin is rare version that was only used intil 1923. The back of this pin is not engraved. It's great gift for your Fiji sweetheart's necklace or charm bracelet!

This is a Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is engraved with, "A. N." The pin also has a knuckle clasp and a whale-tail spinner. This pin is a rare version that was only used until 1923.

Phi Gamma Delta - 1919

Length: 5/8" Width: 3/8 " Mass: 2.4 grams

Here is a vintage Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is engraved with "Chi, W. BARNETT, 19" and the Balfour mark. The Chi chapter was founded at Union University (NY) in 1893. There is slight wear to the enamel but overall great condition!

Phi Gamma Delta - 1922

Length: 5/8" Width: 3/8 " Mass: 1.7 grams

Here is another vintage Phi Gamma Delta pin. It is engraved on the back with, "Mu Iota, W. K. Horning, '22." The Mu Iota chapter was founded at the University of Idaho in 1920.

Phi Gamma Delta - 1922

Length: 9/16 " Width: 3/8 " Mass: 1.7 grams

This smaller pin is a rare version that was only used until 1923. The back is engraved with "TA, K.N.Soule '22". The Tau Alpha chapter of FIJI was founded at Trinity in Connecticut in 1893 and closed in 1922 making this one of the last initiated members of this now extinct chapter!

This is a Phi Gamma Delta stick pin. Appears to be completely made of gold. Badge is guaranteed to be at least 10k gold. The pin is straight; the scan skipped.

Phi Gamma Delta

Length: 7/8" Width: 9/16" Mass: 2.5 grams

This is a Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is engraved with, "A 3128." We think this pin could possibly be from a salesman's sample because the chapter is usually indicated in the starburst. The clasp from this pin would indicate a turn of the century dating.

Phi Gamma Delta

This is a Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is engraved with, "W. G. Holmes, Colgate, '24, 5870, Theta Psi." The Theta Psi chapter was founded at Colgate University in 1887 and was inactive 1969-1976. This chapter became inactive again in 1988 and is still inactive.

Phi Gamma Delta - c.40

Length: 7/8" Width: 9/16" Mass: 2.7 grams

This is a "founder's badge" style Phi Gamma Delta pin. The back is beautifully engraved with "Gamma Phi" "Robert M. Spicer" and "651". Gamma Phi was founded at Pennsylvania State in 1888. We estimate this pin to probably the late 1940's. Check out the great "knuckle clasp" on this beauty!

Length: 9/16" Width: 9/16" Mass: 3.3 grams

Here is a Delta Theta pin with 14 seed pearls and 7 amethysts. This pin is guaranteed to be at least 10k gold.

New info! Founded at Muhlenberg College in 1898 after this Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), Epsilon Deuteron chapter went inactive in 1894. Great piece of FIJI history! This chapter must have closed at or before 1935 as it disappears from books at this time quoting 386 Alum members in 1935.
