Delta Tau Delta - Diamonds!

Length: 5/8" Width: 5/8" Mass: 4.5 grams

Here is a beautiful Delta Tau Delta badge with 20 seed pearls and 4 diamonds. The back is engraved, "CMC, Beta Theta, '41." This pin is white gold and although it is not stamped it is guaranteed to be at least 10k gold. The Beta Theta chapter was founded at the University of the South in 1883.

Delta Tau Delta - 1907!

Length: 7/16" Width: 7/16" Mass: 2.4 grams

This is a vintage Delta Tau Delta pin made in a light rose gold. There is an engraving on the back, but because of the old age it is hard to read. It appears to be "7682 or 7632" which would be consistent with what looks like " '07"; in 1905 there were 7,486 members in DTD. There appears to be initials and maybe even a chapter designation but they are difficult to make out and we may be able to dig deeper to discover the original engraving. The border is flat around the face of the badge. The old style knuckle clasp with whale tail spinner also helps date this pin to around 1900 along with the old style of the badge border! This is a great example of an extremely old badge!

Here is a vintage style Delta Tau Delta badge. It is engraved on the back, "Harold Neilson, Beta, '24, 1198." The Beta chapter was founded at the University of Ohio in 1862 and is the 5th chapter of DTD. Notice the convex rather than concave borders around the face of the badge. Very unique indeed!
